Patent Safety Focus - A Global Commitment

At Patent, safety comes first. The safety of our own workers and of everyone else on the jobsite ranks before any consideration. We are committed to "Zero Injuries" and never stop striving even after that objective is achieved.

Safety training occurs at all levels, from workshops for directors and senior managers, to day training seminars for all managers and supervisors, to extensive position-specific training, i.e., forklift drivers. This training is reinforced company-wide via safety alerts, intranet and multi-media, including a video, "The Cost of Accidents," recognized at The New York Festivals International Film & Video Awards as among "The World's Best Work" in industrial film productions.

Safety extends to the jobsite, with a host of Patent programs that help in identifying safety hazards. Risk assessment is formalized, branches and projects are audited, "toolbox talks" are conducted, and top performers are recognized throughout the organization. These programs, along with many others, far exceed OSHA minimums and routinely earn Patent safety awards across the country.
